The Sahab Brief
What we've been up to this month, two things now live, and a little tech worth your time.

A note from Omar
July was a heads-down month for us, the kind where the work happens quietly and then, all at once, a couple of things are ready to show. This month that's a community platform we built for MAS Central Indianapolis, and Sahab Tasks, now live on the web and on iPhone. Both are the sort of everyday useful we like to build. Here's the short version.

Client work
One place to run a whole community
We built the platform that runs the Muslim American Society's Central Indianapolis chapter online. Events with their own registration forms, tiered pricing by age or membership, and donations, all in one place, with an admin dashboard behind it for the team to manage registrations, receipts, and emails. It is the kind of tool that quietly replaces a dozen spreadsheets and email threads.

Sahab Tasks is live on web and iPhone
Sahab Tasks is our take on task management: simple, fast, and out of your way. Color-coded lists, a My Day view for what actually matters today, due dates, and shared lists so a plan stays in sync with the people in it. It is on the web and on iPhone now, and it works the same on both. Simple tasks, done right.

One tip
Give every task a verb
| "Mom" is not a task; "call Mom about the weekend" is. The tasks that name the actual next action are the ones that get done, and the vague ones just sit there. It sounds small, and it changes how much you finish in a week. It is how we write ours in Sahab Tasks. |

What's next
Uswah Institute, our largest project, is in its final stretch before launch, a full online learning platform for Hifz, Qaida, Tajwid, and Arabic. Chefless 1.1 is close behind, with recipe import from any link and per-kitchen meal times. We'll show both when they're ready.
